Approach
The journey to college has three phases – planning, application, and admissions. The college planning process begins prior to high school. The application phase generally occurs during the sophomore to senior years of high school and the admission process begins at the point of contact with a potential program/college. Recent educational research has shown that the application/admissions process is critical in determining whether students thrive and graduate from college. Thus, students and families must start early and give careful thought to finding and selecting best‐match programs/colleges.
